Reese and Anna Kate will soon be nursery buddies...ha. Ryan and Amy Perry are her parents and are over one of our Young Married classes.

Today we celebrated our 1 year anniversary as Prestonwood North (as a church, not our marriage anniversary...). I can't believe that it has already been a year. Time has gone by soooo very fast. It seems like only yesterday Nick was asked to leave the main campus in Plano and journey north to a small town called Prosper to help start a 2nd location there. He was on the Singles staff at the main campus and is now working as the Adult Bible Fellowship Minister at the North campus. It has been such a blessing to be a part of this movement. I think I can speak for us both by saying we had no idea how close we were going to become with our church family who we serve along side with. The people we have met through this experience have become like family. Nick always told me that God would provide a family through our church homes since we are away from both sets of parents. He was right. God has done exactly that. BUT>>>>>we still miss you very much Mom, Dad, Ronnie and Jeana. We wish we could be with all of you much more often! ( and you too Abby, Brian, Olivia, Jason, Josh, Kate, Peyton and Parker!!!) I don't want to leave anyone out...ha! Since we can't have all of you, this church family has been a blessing.

Reese's 1st Sunday in the Nursery...

Yes, it was Reese's first Sunday in the nursery. It was so hard to leave her...I knew it would be. I knew she would be fine but it is still so hard. We survived...the both of us. Now I know how it feels to be the mommy trusting someone else with you baby...usually I was on the other end...the babysitter. Being a mommy makes me even more careful with other children because I now realize the love that their own parents love them with. It is an awesome responsibility to be trusted with a child. wow. This experience will make me an even better nursery worker!!! ha! No seriously, it will!

Reese Has A NEW Cousin...Cousin PARKER!

Parker Thomas Floyd was born on Wednesday, August 8th. Reese now has 2 boy cousins....one older and one younger. Parker and Reese are only 11 weeks apart. Holidays will be so fun! Congratulations Josh and Kate!!! Parker...we can't wait to hold you. We love you oh so much and Praise the Lord that you are healthy and at home.

A Special Request by Granddaddy Bone...

Well here they are Granddaddy. You requested pictures of Reese straining to see the T.V....so I took some this morning. It is pretty funny. No matter how I lay her on the floor in the living room, she is determined to find that T.V. She will strain her head back and lift up her little arms for balance. It is so cute!!! I then put up little toys so she gets occupied with something else. ha. We are trying not to let her watch any T.V....which is a challenge.

Miss. Riley Stephens came over for a visit last night. She is officially "2" years old! Happy Birthday Riley!!! Jarrett and Deb are dear friends and are expecting their second little girl in Jan. We can't wait to meet you little baby girl!

These are two of Reese's Great-Grandmothers. Grandma Edith is Dad's mother and Grandma Polly is Mom's mom. They are two wonderful grandparents and are anxious to meet Miss. Reese.
