Why Ethiopia?

Hi Meredith,

I sat by a friend of yours (Karen) at BSF this morning and she gave me your blog address. We, too, are adopting from Ethiopia through Gladney and got on the waitlist on January 4, 2011. And I posted this video not long ago, too! I look forward to reading more of your journey!

Hi Meredith,
We have a three things in common:
My name is Meredith.
We are adopting.
We both know Katie.

I've been following your blog for a while now. Katie R is my sisternlaw (husband's sister) and so I follow some of her blog list. It is exciting to read as you wait for your little ones. We never really considered adoption, but the Lord laid it on our hearts last year. We started the process september 23rd 2010 and we were matched with a baby boy on Dec 23rd. It was sooner than we expected (our youngest of 3 is only 2) but God knew which child we would be blessed with! Hopefully we will go get him this year! We are just waiting for travel approval at this point but for Korea it is a long wait (8-12 months). I just wanted to say hi. When I read your blog from time to time I pray for those babies. Have a great week:)
