Happy Easter! HE Is Alive!

Happy Easter everyone! I am so thankful for Easter....that Jesus died and rose 3 days later...is alive and coming back one day. Thank you Jesus. We live because He Lives. This was a great Easter....enjoyed having Reese to celebrate with.

I took Reese to a little area of flowers in downtown Prosper after church. She was precious.

This is how I found Reese when I went to pick her up from nursery on Easter Sunday. I couldn't believe she had fallen asleep.....and there were like a million crying babies too....some how she was just sleeping right thru it! She must have been really tired!!! ha.

Ok...please turn your attention to the above picture...ha. This was Nick after 2 Easter egg hunts last Saturday...ha.. and just for the record..I did offer Sunscreen to my sweet husband but he declined my offer...perhaps next time???

This past weekend we went to Arkansas with Marc and Lindsay Rylander to show them First Springdale and Pinnacle Hills....and Poppi (Nick's Dad) wanted to take the grandkids to Build A Bear...Reese ended up taking "Miss Hoppy"....I put in bed with her yesterday (above). Thanks Popi!

This was Reese's 1st Easter Egg hunt...It was fun... Daddy had to "show her the ropes"....she is getting the hang of it..kind of....perhaps next year?

Fun In the Snow!!!

Well...the weather channel said that we "might" get 1 inch of snow tonight....well we have already had 4-6 inches...it is beautiful. Nick and I just couldn't help ourselves...we went out while Reese was napping and had some fun in the snow...Nick especially, because he was hitting me with snow about every other second..in my face too!!!! It was fun!

This was our attempt at a snowman...hey and don't fault us because he looks so pitiful...it's not like we get lots of practice or anything..He turned out quite nice...had no carrots in the frig...a cheeto did the trick for his nose...ha! ok...he was pretty pitiful...but whatever.
Ok....so this is gatorade mixed with water....AKA (also known as) our amo... for revenge on our friends for a practical joke they played on us last time it snowed. We got our friend's pesticide sprayer and "filled-er-up" with some of this good amo...and then we went to their houses and wrote lovely messages (on the snow) in their front yards for everyone to see..ha! Our paticular favorite was "Hillary 08". We left this message in our very conservative Republican's front yard..ha. It was greatness and Nick and I and our other friend Taylor really enjoyed ourselves...Reese was a good partner in crime as well. Were such rebels! not.

Reese's 1st Snow

Reese saw snow for the 1st time this morning. It snowed last night and was so pretty when we woke up this morning. Reese really didn't quite no what to do....slightly restricted because her crazy mother had her decked out in warm clothes....except that the only jeans she had clean were high-waters. Please notice below...ha. We only stayed out like 2 seconds...so she was ok.

This weekend we drove to Yoakum, Tx to celebrate Nick's Grandma's 80th Surprise Birthday Party! It was fun!

Well...it is official...Reese is now a crawler! She just turned 9 months old and is starting to explore our home...she is just figuring out that she can venture from the living room...ha. It is really fun to watch. She is a great Joy! Thank you Father for such a joy here on earth! We are blessed.

Mimi (my mom) came to visit us last week...we had soo much fun and did lots of shopping! Mimi...Reese wants you to come back and visit next week...ok? ok. And you too Granddaddy!

Mom watched Reese on Friday night and me and Nick went out on a DATE. Yes...a DATE. It was lovely...we went out to dinner...where Nick had flowers at our table for me....he surprised me and they were beautiful! Then we went to the movies and then stayed downtown for the evening. That was our first night away from Reese. We all survived. ha...No, she did great and so did I. It was a nice break. Thanks Mimi! Nick...thanks for a great date night! I love and appreciate you.
